Trump, Bondi celebrate Supreme Court ruling on Venezuelan deportations – Washington Examiner
President Donald Trump and his administration celebrated a Supreme Court ruling that permits the enforcement of the Alien Enemies Act, allowing for the deportation of alleged gang members from Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan group recently labeled a terrorist organization by the State Department. The 5-4 decision allows Trump to expedite deportations under this 1798 law, typically used for wartime threats.Trump hailed the ruling as a victory for the rule of law and announced plans for swift actions against individuals linked to the gang. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem also expressed commitment to leveraging the ruling to enhance national security. Thay warned illegal migrants to leave the U.S. promptly, citing the ruling as a notable step toward securing the borders. Supporters, including Stephen Miller, called it a monumental victory for the administration, though the decision saw some disappointment from conservatives regarding the vote of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who sided against Trump.
Trump, Bondi, Noem celebrate Supreme Court ruling on Venezuelan deportations
President Donald Trump and his Cabinet celebrated their victory in a Supreme Court decision allowing the administration to deport under the Alien Enemies Act.
The court ruled in Trump’s favor 5-4 on Monday, clearing Trump to use the 1798 statute typically reserved for wartime threats. He had used the act to fast-track the deportation of alleged members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan gang recently designated a terrorist organization by the State Department. The president was quick to celebrate the victory in a post on Truth Social.
“The Supreme Court has upheld the Rule of Law in our Nation by allowing a President, whoever that may be, to be able to secure our Borders, and protect our families and our Country, itself. A GREAT DAY FOR JUSTICE IN AMERICA!” he said.
Attorney General Pam Bondi declared that she would act quickly to take advantage of the decision.
“Following tonight’s landmark Supreme Court ruling, the American people can rest assured that @Sec_Noem, @RealTomHoman and I will direct our assets to scour the country for any remnants of Tren De Aragua and DEPORT THEM,” Bondi said.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem warned all illegal migrants to “LEAVE NOW” in the wake of the ruling, consistent with other recent warnings she’s given.
“It is a bad day to be a terrorist and criminal alien in the United States of America. Today’s SCOTUS ruling is a victory for commonsense security— an activist judge cannot stop the will of the American people for a safe and secure homeland. We will continue to enforce our immigration laws and restore sanity to our immigration system by using all appropriate authorities, including the Alien Enemies Act,” she said.
Stephen Miller, homeland security adviser and one of the biggest public defenders of the use of the Alien Enemies Act, praised the result.
“This was a huge, I mean a monumental victory for President Trump, the biggest legal win of this administration so far. A total embarrassment for crazy Judge Boasberg, who’s been trying to force this president to bring foreign alien terrorists back on American soil,” he said on Fox News’s Hannity, referring to the judge who blocked Trump’s use of the law. “This is a monumental, colossal victory — for the rule of law, for the Constitution, for our founding generation.”

“Those monsters can now be hunted down and expelled from this country with speed, force, and efficiency,” Miller added.
One area of disappointment for conservatives was the stance of Trump-nominated Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who sided with the three liberal women on the court against Trump.

Great news, round up the rats and deport them. Also fruit loop lunatic criminal loving judges should be removed.
