“Why would anyone vote for New Jersey and Virginia Gubernatorial Candidates, Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger, when they want transgender for everybody, men playing in women’s sports, High Crime, and the most expensive Energy prices almost anywhere in the World?” Trump said in his post. “VOTE REPUBLICAN for massive Energy Cost reductions, large scale Tax Cuts, and basic Common Sense!”

The president referenced the country’s current low gas prices, going so far as to say they will soon decrease to “approximately $2 a gallon.” He warned that with Democrats in charge, gas prices would significantly rise, predicting a price of $4 per gallon and higher. A week ago, one gas price analysis revealed that the average cost for a gallon of regular gas had dropped to under $3 per gallon.

Currently, both Democrats reportedly have leads in their respective races. In Virginia, Abigail Spanberger leads Republican candidate Winsome Earle-Sears by an average of 7.1% in the polls, according to Real Clear Politics. The race is tighter in New Jersey, with Mikie Sherrill leading Republican candidate Jack Ciattarelli 48.1% to 44%, according to Real Clear Politics.
