Trump blames Biden for Iranian ‘super cells’ allowed into the US
Former President donald Trump recently blamed President Joe Biden for allowing “Iranian super cells” into the United States. During a press interaction while heading to the Netherlands, Trump claimed that Biden has permitted various threats, notably groups of “sleeper cells,” which are inactive terrorist factions that may become active in the future. He asserted that these groups had infiltrated the U.S. amid rising illegal immigration during Biden’s term. Trump referenced a Customs and Border Protection memo indicating an increasing threat level regarding sleeper cells without disclosing any specific dangers. He emphasized the potential risks posed by Iranian sleeper cells, especially after the recent bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities. Additionally, Trump criticized Biden’s governance, labeling it “gross incompetence” and suggested that Biden’s actions had severe implications for the country.
Trump blames Biden for Iranian ‘super cells’ allowed into the US
President Donald Trump has taken aim at his predecessor once again, this time blaming him for Iranian “super cells” allowed into the United States.
“[President Joe] Biden let a lot of stupid stuff in,” Trump told reporters en route to the Netherlands. “…And among everything else, he let a lot of super cells in. Many from Iran. But hopefully we’ll take care of it.”
While Trump appeared to use the term “super cells,” the threat is also known as “sleeper cells,” meaning groups of terrorists who remain inactive for a time before carrying out an attack. Trump alleges that many potential cell groups entered amid a wave of illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. during the Biden administration.
The threat of sleeper cells has never been higher, according to a Customs and Border Protection memo obtained by NewsNation, though it listed no specific threats.

Iranian sleeper cells in particular could pose a threat after bombing the country’s nuclear development facilities, and Trump began demanding a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
Trump has long maintained that dangerous threats were pouring across the border during the Biden years, and is continuing to make those claims almost six months after re-entering the White House for a second time.
In the same comments, Trump once again charged that Biden used an autopen throughout his presidency, calling into question who was running the country at the time.
“It was gross incompetence,” Trump said. “What Biden did to this country should never be forgotten.”
