Trump criticizes Christie as unfit for presidency after fourth debate
Former President Donald Trump Takes Aim at Chris Christie
Former President Donald Trump didn’t hold back in his criticism of his 2024 opponent, Chris Christie. Trump took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, to blast the former New Jersey governor just two days after Christie’s appearance in the fourth Republican debate. Interestingly, Trump himself did not participate in the debate for the fourth time.
“Sloppy Chris Christie is not fit to run for President. He is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Trump wrote. “According to all, he came in LAST in the debate, and I came in FIRST, as I have in all of the debates, without even being there. MAGA!”
During the debate, Christie made a point of calling out his opponents on stage for evading direct answers to questions. Although he had the least speaking time, clocking in at just over 16 minutes, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley wasn’t far ahead with only about 30 seconds more.
When Christie boldly predicted that Trump “will be convicted of felonies,” he faced boos from the crowd. Undeterred, the former governor defiantly urged them to “boo all you want.”
Trump’s Focus on Gov. Ron DeSantis
Not stopping at Christie, Trump also dedicated three separate posts on Friday to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), who seems to be the runner-up candidate to the former president. In these posts, Trump accused DeSantis of once being ”Anthony Fauci’s Biggest Fan.”
Ever since the various indictments were brought against him, from mishandling classified documents to subverting the 2020 presidential election, Trump has maintained a massive lead. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

What are some of the threats facing shark populations worldwide?
Sharks are a type of fish known for their cartilaginous skeleton, streamlined bodies, and sharp, tooth-like scales called dermal denticles. They are typically found in oceans and seas all over the world, but some species can also be found in freshwater habitats. Sharks are highly adapted predators, with powerful jaws and rows of razor-sharp teeth that they use to capture and consume their prey.
There are over 500 known species of sharks, ranging in size from the tiny dwarf lanternshark, which measures less than 8 inches in length, to the giant whale shark, which can grow up to 60 feet in length. Sharks come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors, depending on the species.
Sharks play an important role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems. They are apex predators, meaning they are at the top of the food chain. By keeping populations of other marine organisms in check, they help regulate the overall health and biodiversity of their habitats.
Unfortunately, sharks are facing numerous threats, primarily due to human activities. Overfishing, habitat destruction, climate change, and bycatch in fishing nets all contribute to the decline in shark populations worldwide. Some species, such as the great white shark and the hammerhead shark, are particularly vulnerable.
Conservation efforts are now underway to protect and manage shark populations. These include implementing fishing regulations, establishing marine protected areas, and raising awareness about the importance of shark conservation. Additionally, scientists are studying sharks to better understand their behavior, biology, and evolution, which can inform future conservation strategies.
In conclusion, sharks are fascinating and complex creatures that play a vital role in marine ecosystems. Their survival is crucial for the health of our oceans and the overall balance of marine life.
