A mentally ill man cosplaying as a woman reportedly shot and killed six people at a school in British Columbia after murdering his mother and stepbrother, marking yet another instance of transgender violence.
Eighteen-year-old Jesse Van Rootselaar killed his mother and stepbrother on Tuesday before heading to a local school and fatally shooting eight individuals before turning the gun on himself, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Van Rootselaar also wounded more than two dozen in the attack, the Associated Press reported.
Rootselaar was born male but began identifying as a female six years ago, according to the New York Post.
An Instagram account purportedly belonging to Jesse’s mother, Jennifer, appears to show she was a trans activist who posted that “you have any idea how many kids are killing themselves over this kind of hate,” adding “ProtectTransKids.”
The deadly and tragic shooting is just the latest in a string of transgender violence, which has become an epidemic.
In September, conservative titan Charlie Kirk was murdered on a Utah college campus just as he began answering a question about transgender violence statistics. Kirk’s alleged killer was apparently in a relationship with a male who claimed to be “transgender.”
Two weeks before Kirk’s horrific murder, a male who claimed to be “transgender” fatally shot up a church full of praying children in Minneapolis. In 2023, a “transgender” school shooter shot up a Nashville, Tennessee school.
Just last year, Ryan Michael English allegedly tried to assassinate Scott Bessent and burn down The Heritage Foundation, claiming he was inspired by Luigi Mangione. “Ryan” is identified in several reports as being a “female” named “Riley Jane English.” English is a male who cosplays as a female, displaying that he is mentally ill.
Maya “Alec” McKinney (a female who later claimed to be male) was sentenced to life in prison in 2020 following the deadly 2019 shooting in Colorado that left one student dead. In 2018, a Snochia Moseley, a male identifying as a female, fatally shot up a Maryland drugstore warehouse.
As The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson wrote, “Transgenderism is a terrorist death cult and we need to treat it the way we treated Al Qaeda or ISIS.”
