Pentagon Official Unhappy with UFO Testimony to Congress
A Top Pentagon Official Criticizes UFO Testimony as “Insulting” and “Uncooperative”
A top Pentagon official has launched a scathing attack on this week’s widely publicized congressional hearing on UFOs, describing the claims as “insulting” to the hardworking employees who are diligently investigating these sightings. Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, the leader of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), took to his personal LinkedIn page to express his discontent with the testimony provided by a retired Air Force intelligence officer, which garnered global headlines.
Retired Air Force Maj. David Grusch, during his testimony, revealed that the U.S. government has been concealing a long-term program dedicated to collecting and reverse-engineering unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), commonly known as UFOs. He further disclosed that the U.S. has recovered non-human “biologics,” although he personally had not seen them but had learned about them from individuals with direct knowledge of the program.
Dr. Kirkpatrick, a career intelligence officer, was appointed to lead AARO with the aim of centralizing investigations into UAPs. In recent years, Congress has been pressuring the Pentagon and U.S. intelligence agencies to take reports of devices exhibiting unusual speeds or trajectories more seriously due to national security concerns.
In his letter, Dr. Kirkpatrick expressed his deep disappointment with the hearing, stating, “I cannot let yesterday’s hearing pass without sharing how insulting it was to the officers of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community who chose to join AARO.” He also addressed the allegations made by Grusch, denying any harm or deaths resulting from individuals providing information about UFOs. Additionally, he emphasized that AARO has found no credible evidence to support the existence of a reverse engineering program for non-human technology.
Dr. Kirkpatrick also highlighted the seriousness of the allegations made during the hearing, including claims of retaliation, physical assault, and even murder. He assured that law enforcement is an integral part of the AARO team, ready to take swift action should anyone come forward with such claims. However, he pointed out that the central source of these allegations has refused to cooperate with AARO, without explicitly naming Grusch.
It is clear that tensions are running high within the Pentagon regarding the UFO testimony, with Dr. Kirkpatrick’s letter shedding light on the internal disagreements and the need for further investigation. As the public eagerly awaits more information on this intriguing subject, it remains to be seen how the government will address these claims and continue their efforts to uncover the truth behind UFO sightings.
