The ‘Transformation’ Of Ellen Page, And The Media’s Compulsory Praise
Oscar-nominated actress Ellen Page two years ago said she was actually a man named Elliot, and subsequently underwent so-called top surgery, possibly has plastic surgery to create masculine abdominal muscles, and is likely on hormone therapy.
While the invasive, life-altering changes come with a slew of irreversible challenges, potential follow-up surgeries, and side effects — all on a physically healthy young woman — the media and their counterparts in Big Tech have praised the “transformation” in compulsory fashion.
“Elliot Page: Actor wins praise for sharing swimming shorts image after top surgery,” gushed CBS News.
The Guardian praised, “Elliot Page reveals happiness at having had top surgery.”
“Elliot Page radiates joy in wholesome Christmas dog selfie and fans are in love,” said PinkNews.
Twitter has also banned users from “deadnaming” people who claim to be transgender. This means users are not allowed to acknowledge that the actress was called Ellen Page before deciding she’s really a guy named Elliot.
But let’s take a real look at Page’s “transformation.”
‘Top Surgery’
According to the Mayo Clinic, a “top surgery,” which Page has bragged about having, involves “more” than a subcutaneous mastectomy surgery, typically reserved for cancer patients.
“Top surgery involves more than a mastectomy for the treatment of breast cancer,” the medical center outlines. “Special techniques are used to contour and reduce the chest wall, position the nipples and areola, and minimize scarring.”
The surgery “will cause irreversible physical changes” and patients could “need additional surgery to correct scarring, chest contour, or the placement of the nipples and areola.”
Some of the stated risks include bleeding, infection, loss of sensation to the nipple, an adverse reaction to anesthesia, fluid buildup beneath the skin, solid swelling of clotted blood within your tissues, damaged or dead body tissue, an imbalance in chest tissue, scarring, and more.
The Mayo Clinic further notes that patients could end up “not being satisfied with appearance after surgery.”
‘Hormone Treatment’
Page is also likely taking hormones, which has seemed to deepen her voice and slightly change her face.
For “masculinizing hormone therapy,” biological females are given the male hormone testosterone, “which suppresses your menstrual cycles and decreases the production of estrogen from your ovaries,” the Mayor Clinic says.
The so-called therapy “can affect your fertility and sexual function and cause other health problems,” the medical center warns.
Here are more of the states risks via the Mayor Clinic:
Producing too many red blood cells (polycythemia)Weight gainAcneDeveloping male-pattern baldnessSleep apneaDeveloping an abnormal level of cholesterol and other lipids, which may increase cardiovascular risk (dyslipidemia)High blood pressure (hypertension)Type 2 diabetesDeep vein thrombosis and/or pulmonary embolism (venous thromboembolism)InfertilityA condition where the lining of the vagina becomes drier and thinner (atrophic vaginitis)Pelvic painClitoral discomfort
The medical center notes that “conclusions can’t be drawn about whether masculinizing hormone therapy increases the risk of ovarian and uterine cancer.”
‘Abdominal Etching’
Social media users have debated if Page has had abdominal muscle implants, comparing the actress’ stomach to her post-op pics.

So-called abdominal etching “uses liposuction [to] uncover the ab muscles that already exist under layers of fat,” Insider reported in 2019.
First “regular liposuction techniques” are used to remove excess fat above different organs while the patient is under general anesthesia, the report said. Then liposuction is used “on a level even closer to the skin’s surface to ‘etch’ out the ab muscles to give them a more prominent and defined appearance.”
“These aren’t fake abs, they’re your own abs and I just unveil them,” said plastic surgeon Dr. Tarik M. Husain.
Heathline said the cosmetic procedure is considered “low-risk” but noted complications and side effects can occur, listing the following:
nerve and blood vessel damageskin discolorationbumpy skin or irregular healingswellingfluid accumulationanesthesia bruising or headaches
Page has never confirmed that she’s received such a surgery, despite the speculation online.
You Will Agree, Or You Will Shut Up
As young men and women, and sometimes even minors, undergo these permanent changes to attempt to alleviate their gender dysphoria, the liberal media and their counterparts in Big Tech will offer nothing but praise and support — and so will you, lest you’re ready to be ostracized and pushed out of the modern-day public square.
Old-school liberal investigative journalist Matt Taibbi, for example, told The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro that he “lost friends” for even offering a review of “What is a Woman,” a documentary that critically looks at radical gender theory.
“With the trans issue, there would be some people who would talk to me, and then there would be some people who were furious that you even called, would refuse to have any kind of discussion, would call you a transphobe for even asking certain kinds of questions — and this is before you even have a point of view on the subject,” Taibbi said, recalling a time he
