Tesla Cuts Prices in Japan for Model 3 and Model Y Electric Vehicles

The latest news from Tesla Inc is sure to excite car enthusiasts in Japan. The company has announced a price reduction for its popular Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles, making them even more affordable for customers.

According to Tesla’s website, the prices of all variants of the Model 3 have been reduced by approximately 3%. Similarly, the prices of all Model Y variants have been slashed by around 4%. This move aims to make these electric vehicles more accessible to a wider range of customers.

Tesla highlighted that the price reduction for the Model 3 now makes it more affordable in Japan than ever before, especially when combined with various subsidies available for the purchase.

The price cuts come just two months after Tesla had increased the prices of the Model 3 and Model Y in Japan. The new prices for the Model 3 and Model Y are 5,245,600 yen ($36,362) and 5,637,000 yen, respectively.

It’s worth noting that the prices for the long-range and performance variants of both models remain slightly higher.

Interestingly, Tesla has decided to keep the prices of its higher-priced Model S and Model X unchanged. These electric vehicles, which were introduced in Japan in May, have received positive feedback from customers.
