Sen. Ted Cruz Takes Aim at President Biden Over White House Cocaine Incident
During a recent episode of his engaging “Verdict” podcast, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) didn’t hold back in criticizing President Joe Biden and his administration’s handling of the recent cocaine incident at the White House.
Cruz boldly stated that the reason the Biden White House is refusing to disclose the identity of the individual responsible for bringing cocaine into the complex is because “any answer to that question is politically damaging.”
Using Biden’s own favorite term, Cruz dismissed the White House’s statements as nothing but “malarkey!”
Mocking Biden’s past claims of confronting a supposed gang leader named Corn Pop during his lifeguard days, Cruz quipped, “You know, I don’t know if Corn Pop was a cocaine dealer. But let me make a serious point…”
The senator then highlighted the media’s lack of coverage on the cocaine incident, contrasting it with the hypothetical scenario of a similar incident occurring during the Trump administration. “Can you imagine how the corporate media would have lost their mind if a bag of cocaine were found in the Trump White House?” Cruz asked rhetorically.
He further criticized the White House’s claim of not knowing who brought the cocaine, pointing out that the building has records of every person’s entry, exit, and movement within. With Secret Service agents and cameras throughout the premises, Cruz argued that it is implausible for the White House to be unaware of the culprit.
Concluding his remarks, Cruz accused the Biden administration of prioritizing politics over the rule of law. “To hell with the rule of law. It’s politics, politics, all politics all the time,” he asserted.
