Ted Cruz’s concise reply to Alcohol Czar’s ‘Two Beers A Week’ suggestion.
Senator Ted Cruz Fires Back at Biden’s Alcohol Czar
During a recent appearance on Newsmax, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) had a strong response to reports that President Joe Biden’s Alcohol Czar could recommend limiting Americans to just two beers per week. In three words, Cruz said, “Kiss my a**.”
The Left’s Need for Control
Cruz took issue with what he sees as the Left’s constant desire to control every aspect of Americans’ lives. He expressed his frustration with their attempts to regulate and dictate even the smallest details.

Bolling, the host, asked Cruz about the reporting on the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) director George Koob, who suggested that the United States could follow Canada’s lead in recommending a two-beer-per-week limit.
Cruz’s Response
Cruz was unimpressed with the idea and made his thoughts clear. He questioned the need for an alcohol czar in the first place and criticized the liberal mindset of wanting to control every aspect of people’s lives.
“Look, Eric, it is nuts. Number one, why does Biden have an alcohol czar? We don’t need czars in the United States,” Cruz stated. “Number two, what is it with liberals that want to control every d*** aspect of your life?”

Cruz went on to highlight other examples of the Left’s overreach, such as attempts to ban gas stoves and regulate ceiling fans. He emphasized that Texans, especially in the hot climate, have no intention of giving up their ceiling fans.
“And now these idiots have come out and said, ‘Drink two beers a week,’ that’s their guideline,” Cruz concluded. “I’ve gotta tell you, if they want us to drink two beers a week, frankly, they can kiss my a**.”
