Taylor Swift supports Gaza charity with comedy show attendance: Report
Taylor Swift Attends Comedy Show Benefiting Gaza Charity
Singer Taylor Swift made a glamorous appearance at a comedy show featuring comedian Ramy Youssef, all in support of a Gaza charity. The event took place at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City, and Swift was accompanied by her friend Selena Gomez. But they weren’t the only stars in attendance. Celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zoe Kravitz were also spotted in the audience.
A Night Out in Style
Vogue magazine confirmed the fabulous “girls’ night out” by providing a detailed description of Swift and Gomez’s outfits. Journalist Hannah Jackson wrote, ”Both Swift and Gomez rocked the miniskirt and tall boots combo for their evening at Ramy Youssef’s standup show, which was a benefit for ANERA.”
Supporting a Worthy Cause
The American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) is a charity that focuses on providing humanitarian aid to refugees and vulnerable communities in Palestine and Lebanon. Youssef himself took to Instagram to announce that “100% of the proceeds from the remaining shows of the Ramy Youssef: More Feelings standup tour will be donated to ANERA, offering much-needed relief to the people of Gaza.”
In a social media post on December 7, ANERA expressed their hope for a ceasefire and acknowledged the pain and uncertainty currently experienced in the region. Their social media accounts also shed light on the impact of climate change on communities in the Levant.
Award-Winning Swift
Adding to her list of achievements, Swift was recently honored as Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” for 2023.
