Requirements for eligibility

The Permanent Fund ‌Dividend program provides eligible residents with an annual ⁢check based on Alaska’s mineral revenues for that year. In⁤ 2023, each resident received a check worth⁣ $1,312, ‍with distribution starting in October.

“The 2023 PFD marks the 42nd year Alaskans have received their share of the state’s natural resource wealth,” said Alaska Department of Revenue Commissioner Adam Crum. “I would like to thank our⁣ Permanent Fund Dividend Division for their tireless work year-round in administering the program and ⁤processing the applications.”

In 2023, over 8,000 more applications were processed compared to the previous⁤ year. The injection of nearly $1 ⁣billion into the ‍state’s economy through⁣ the 2023 PFD will directly benefit Alaskans.
