‘Face me’: Christie dares Trump to attend debate following ‘fat pig’ comments.
Chris Christie Fires Back at Donald Trump Over Weight Comments
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie didn’t hold back in responding to Donald Trump’s taunts about his weight during a campaign event in New Hampshire.
Trump, addressing a crowd in New Hampshire, took a jab at Christie, saying, ”He’s eating right now. He can’t be bothered.” He then scolded someone in the audience who called Christie a “fat pig,” emphasizing the need for civility.

Reacting to Trump’s weight mockery, Christie highlighted that he was not alone in struggling with weight issues, stating, “There are tens of millions of Americans out there who struggle each and every day with their weight. And I’m one of them.” He also criticized Trump’s behavior, calling him childish and small.
“Maybe he should look in the mirror, cause this guy ain’t Arnold Schwarzenegger,” Christie added. “Okay. I’ve seen some of those pictures of him golfing. He doesn’t look like a Greek god to me.”
Christie has been targeting Trump throughout the summer, including calling him a liar and a coward. During the 2016 presidential race, the two engaged in public spats before Christie surprised many by endorsing Trump. Their relationship has been tumultuous ever since.
