Climate activists pelt Ryanair CEO with ‘cream cakes’

Brian O’Leary, CEO of Ryanair, Gets Creamed at Press Conference

The CEO of Ryanair, Brian O’Leary, had an unexpected interruption during‍ a press conference on Thursday. Climate‍ activists made ‍a bold statement by hitting him in the face with what can only be described as “cream cakes.”

The incident ⁢took place outside the European Commission’s headquarters in Brussels, where O’Leary had stopped to address the press after attending a conference. As he was setting up a cardboard cutout ⁤of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, two climate activists ambushed him⁣ and smashed the cream ⁤cakes right into‌ his face.

“Welcome in Belgium!” ‍one of the activists yelled. “Stop the pollution of the ‍f****** planes!”

Although initially taken ⁤aback, O’Leary ‌quickly recovered and ‍laughed off the incident.

“I love cream cakes! They’re my⁤ favorite,” he exclaimed, licking the cream off his hand.

Without missing a beat, O’Leary continued with his planned speech.

“Okay, so we’re here this morning to present our latest petition to our close friend, Ursula von ‌der Leyen,” he said,‍ still covered in cream.

“Six months ago,⁢ we submitted‌ our first petition with just 1 ‍million signatories. Today, we have 1.5 million signatories who have joined ⁤our cause, urging ⁤Ursula von der⁣ Leyen and the European Commission to take action in protecting overflights during strikes,” O’Leary explained, while⁣ indulging in more cream.

Ryanair’s social media also joined in on the fun.

“Warm welcome in Brussels today to ⁢celebrate RYR’s 7 new routes for Winter 23,” they tweeted. “Passengers are so happy with our routes and petition that they’re celebrating with cake. We’ve got tasty low fares!”

It ‍seems ⁣that climate activists are becoming increasingly creative ‌in their efforts to‌ raise awareness. ⁢From defacing priceless works of ⁣art to blocking highways, they are determined to make their cause impossible to ignore.
