According to CNN, Prigozhin stated, “We regret that we were forced to strikes on aircraft, but these aircraft dropped bombs and launched missile strikes.”

The Belarusian government claimed to have brokered a deal to end Prigozhin’s pursuit of Moscow. However, the Wagner founder revealed that the decision was made after assessing the situation and realizing the potential bloodshed that would occur.
