Rogan says Harris ‘probably hammered,’ claiming closest 21st-century election
The article reports on podcast host Joe Rogan’s criticism of former Vice president Kamala Harris’s claim that she had the closest presidential election of the 21st century in her 2024 loss to President donald Trump. Rogan called Harris’s statement false, noting that Trump won both the popular vote and a meaningful majority of Electoral College votes, and pointed out that the closest recent election was actually in 2000 between George W.Bush and Al Gore.Rogan suggested Harris might be trying to convince her supporters that the election was narrowly lost and even joked that she was “probably hammered” when making such remarks. Additionally, the article touches on Harris’s book, *107 days*, in which she reportedly takes credit for certain campaign promises first announced by Trump, and mentions Rogan’s comments about Harris’s refusal to be interviewed on his show despite negotiations. The article also notes Harris’s recent public use of strong language during her book tour.
Joe Rogan says Harris was ‘probably hammered,’ claiming she had closest 21st-century election
Podcast host Joe Rogan rebuffed former Vice President Kamala Harris’s “crazy talk” on Wednesday, saying she is “probably hammered” in falsely claiming she had the closest election in recent history.
Harris has claimed at least twice since leaving the White House that she had the “closest” presidential election of the 21st century when she lost to President Donald Trump, who won both the popular vote and nearly 100 additional Electoral College votes in 2024. Rogan said Harris’s claim is “just not true,” and that the closest presidential contest was in 2000 between then-presidential candidate George W. Bush and former Vice President Al Gore.
“It’s just a lie, and then also she’s leaving out the fact that she lost every swing state, every single one, so like, what are you talking about? He won the popular vote and he won the Electoral College vote, and that’s a mandate!” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience.
Rogan also said Harris may be trying to convince “the converted” that she narrowly lost, who would go on to spread the word, “He barely won.” He added Harris’s claim could be due to her being “hammered,” suggesting she was “drinking wine” when she said, “I’ll f***ing kick his a** next time!”
Author Jack Carr, Rogan’s guest for the episode, said he heard in Harris’s book, 107 Days, that she takes credit for the “No Tax On Tips” campaign promise, which Trump announced in June 2024. Rogan said, “That’s hilarious,” since Trump “said it first, and they copied it.”
WHAT JD VANCE COULD LEARN FROM KAMALA’S MEMOIR
Rogan said Harris also addressed not appearing on his show in 107 Days, and that her team was “not truthful” in their discussions to set up their interview. According to Rogan, Harris and her team “never committed” to appearing on his show, and they made up a claim that Rogan said he had “a personal day” when he interviewed Trump.
Rogan repeated his past statement that he wanted to interview both Trump and Harris on the same day, and was even willing to do Harris’s interview “at midnight.” However, he couldn’t talk to Harris during the day since he had already agreed to talk to Trump.
Harris also went viral this week when she dropped a pair of F-bombs during public appearances, one of which she said near a shelf displaying copies of her book.
