Singer’s Family Reveals Life-Altering Event in November for Wealthy Men Near Richmond
Oliver Anthony’s Exciting 2023: A Growing Family and Musical Success
Oliver Anthony, also known as Chris Lunsford, is having an incredible year, and it’s only going to get better, according to his family.
Anthony and his wife Tiffany are expecting their second child in November, as revealed by Tiffany’s grandfather, Arthur Brogdon.
The couple already has a beautiful 18-month-old daughter, who will be turning 2 in February, affectionately called Junebug by her family.
“Her name is June,” Brogdon shared. “I call her Junebug.”
Brogdon describes Anthony and Tiffany’s marriage as incredibly happy, especially compared to Anthony’s previous marriage, which he refers to as a “bad first marriage.”
“She and Chris define happiness,” Brogdon said. “They’re happy.”
Not only are they happy together, but they also share a love for the outdoors. Brogdon reveals that they enjoy activities like kayaking, horseback riding, and riding ATVs.
“They are an outdoor couple,” Brogdon added. “They go kayaking; they have horses; they ride ATVs. They love each other.”
Anthony adopted his stage name in honor of his late grandfather, Anthony Oliver Ingle, who passed away in 2019. He and Tiffany now reside in Ingle’s former home. Anthony also has an older daughter from his previous marriage.
Last year, Anthony made the bold decision to pursue his music career full-time, leaving behind a job selling aluminum siding. And it seems like he made the right choice.
While such decisions don’t always work out for everyone, Anthony has undoubtedly made the right choice.
His song “Rich Men North of Richmond” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, making Anthony the first artist to achieve this without any previous chart history.
According to Billboard, “The hopelessness and frustration of our times resonate in the response to this song. The song itself is not anything special, but the people who have supported it are incredible and deserve to be heard,” Anthony shared.
Reflecting on his newfound success, Anthony took to his Facebook page, where he describes himself simply as someone who plays music and pets dogs.
“I’m sitting in such a weird place in my life right now,” he wrote. “I never wanted to be a full-time musician, much less sit at the top of the iTunes charts.”
“People in the music industry give me blank stares when I brush off 8 million dollar offers. I don’t want 6 tour buses, 15 tractor trailers, and a jet. I don’t want to play stadium shows; I don’t want to be in the spotlight,” he added.
Despite his reservations, Anthony’s success seems inevitable. However, he can find solace in the fact that he has his loving family to share it all with.
