Report: RFK raised $3M in final 3 days before Q2 filing deadline.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Raises $3 Million in Three Days
Democratic presidential challenger Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has made a significant impact on the race, raising an impressive $3 million in the final three days of the second quarter. This surge in funding has put Kennedy in a strong position to challenge President Joe Biden’s re-election plan.
Despite his reputation as a conspiracy theorist, particularly regarding vaccines, Kennedy’s message is resonating with moderate Democrats. Many are tired of media smears and are showing their support by opening their wallets.
.@Dennis_Kucinich: “One reason Kennedy is catching on is that the public is fed up with the media smears. People are answering the attacks by opening up their wallets.” #Kennedy24 https://t.co/89rAUm6FNe

“RFK, Jr. has shown respect for the intelligence of the American people. The more people hear his message, the more he connects,” said former Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008.
In total, Kennedy’s campaign raised $6 million in the second quarter, with half of that amount coming in the final three days. However, despite his fundraising success, Kennedy still faces an uphill battle for the Democratic nomination. President Joe Biden, with the advantage of incumbency and the support of the Democratic Party, has not agreed to any primary debates with Kennedy.
Additionally, Kennedy is facing resistance from legacy media outlets that seem determined to suppress his message. The New York Times, for example, described his campaign as an attempt to “shake Americans’ faith in science.”

“Shaking Americans’ faith in science,” remarked Tucker Carlson, recently ousted Fox News host. “Imagine if you were an ordinary New York Times subscriber reading that over coffee in your pre-war, rent-controlled duplex on Columbus Avenue. You’d think Bobby Kennedy just declared war on the Enlightenment. ‘My fellow Americans, I have come to shake your faith in science. Join me as I drag our nation back to the Medieval period.’ You’d be appalled.”
