Ramaswamy foresees DeSantis on Haley’s ticket, but he has no say
GOP Candidate Predicts Ron DeSantis Will Join Nikki Haley’s Ticket in 2024
In a captivating video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican presidential candidate, made a bold prediction. He speculated that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida would soon join Nikki Haley’s ticket for the 2024 election, in an effort to oust current GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
“The system wants to narrow this down to a two-horse race between Donald Trump and a puppet who they can control,”
Ramaswamy stated passionately. He continued, “And it is becoming increasingly clear that puppet is not a Democrat. It’s not even Gavin Newsom. It’s Nikki Haley. It’s in our party.”
Ramaswamy went on to make his prediction, emphasizing that DeSantis would become Haley’s Vice President. He expressed his belief that the system would stop at nothing to eliminate Trump from contention, and that Haley and DeSantis were both part of that agenda.
“Ron may not know this, Ron DeSantis may not know this, but that’s what his donors are gonna make him do,”
Ramaswamy revealed. “That’s what’s coming next. Ron DeSantis will become Nikki’s VP. Whether or not Ron knows it, it’s not really his choice. He’s not the one in charge of that decision.”
Ramaswamy urged voters not to “fall into the trap” and elaborated on his point during an appearance on Timcast, highlighting the support Haley has received from those who are actively working to keep Trump off the ballot.
“The very people who are paying to keep Trump off the ballot … look at who they’re supporting. It’s not Gavin Newsom. It’s not Joe Biden. It’s Nikki Haley,”
Ramaswamy emphasized.
Despite his insights and predictions, Ramaswamy was excluded from CNN’s Republican debate, which only featured DeSantis and Haley engaging in heated exchanges.
“Ratings wasteland CNN has not only guaranteed themselves the most boring presidential ‘debate’ in modern history with two career politicians reciting consultant-vetted talking points, but the network has exposed itself to be actively engaging in egregious interference with the Iowa GOP caucus and disrespecting GOP voters,”
Ramaswamy expressed his disappointment in a statement. “Censorship, cherry-picking polls, and legal threats are just the mainstream media’s latest tactics to prop up their favorite puppet.”
Is there any evidence to suggest that Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis are considering openly challenging Trump for the Republican nomination
Nikki Haley. She is an establishment candidate who does not have the fire and passion needed to truly challenge Trump.”
Ramaswamy’s prediction has caused a stir among political pundits and Republican supporters alike. Many find his theory intriguing, considering the rising popularity of both DeSantis and Haley within the party. Ron DeSantis, who has been hailed as a strong conservative leader, has gained national attention for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in Florida. His bold actions and unwavering support for individual liberties and small government have endeared him to many Republicans who are disillusioned with the current administration.
Similarly, Nikki Haley, a former United Nations Ambassador and Governor of South Carolina, has been a prominent figure in the Republican Party. Known for her diplomatic approach and eloquent speaking abilities, Haley has managed to appeal to a wide range of voters, including moderate Republicans and even some Democrats. Her experience on the international stage and her impressive track record as governor make her a formidable candidate.
However, many have questioned the feasibility of Ramaswamy’s prediction. Despite their individual accolades, both DeSantis and Haley have shown no signs of openly challenging Trump for the Republican nomination. In fact, DeSantis has repeatedly expressed his support for Trump and has been endorsed by the former president himself. Haley, on the other hand, has been careful not to criticize Trump directly, instead focusing on the importance of unity and finding common ground within the party.
Ramaswamy argues that the Republican establishment is eager to find an alternative candidate to go up against Trump, someone who can bridge the gap between the Trump loyalists and the more moderate Republicans. He believes that DeSantis and Haley, as a potential ticket, have the potential to unite the party and bring about a fresh start for the Republicans in 2024.
While Ramaswamy’s theory may seem far-fetched to some, it is important to acknowledge the unpredictable nature of politics. The political landscape can change rapidly, and unexpected alliances can form. As the 2024 election approaches, it will be interesting to see how the race for the Republican nomination unfolds and whether Ramaswamy’s prediction holds any merit.
Regardless of the eventual outcome, Ramaswamy’s bold prediction has sparked a conversation about the future of the Republican Party and the potential for new faces to emerge as leaders. As the party looks to rebuild and redefine its identity in the wake of the Trump era, candidates like DeSantis and Haley offer a fresh perspective and a chance to appeal to a broader base of voters.
Only time will tell if Ramaswamy’s prediction comes to fruition. Until then, political enthusiasts and voters alike will eagerly await the developments in the upcoming presidential race, and the potential impact of candidates like Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley.
