‘Kennedy slams Biden on inflation, compares it to a fungal infection.’
Senator John Kennedy Blasts President Biden Over Inflation
Louisiana GOP Senator John Kennedy didn’t hold back in his criticism of President Biden’s handling of inflation, stating, ”Inflation is gutting my people like a fish.”
During an interview on Fox News, Kennedy expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Maui following the devastating fires that claimed over 100 lives. Drawing from his own experience with hurricanes in Louisiana, he offered words of encouragement, saying, “Don’t give up. Take it one day at a time. The American people are with you, and I’ll do my part in Congress to help.”
Bidenomics: Bigger Government, More Spending, Higher Prices
Turning his attention to President Biden, Kennedy criticized the inflationary spiral that has seen prices rise by 16% and food prices soar by 20% during Biden’s tenure.
“Bidenomics is pretty simple,” Kennedy declared. “It’s just bigger government, more spending, and higher prices. In Louisiana, inflation is hitting my people hard. They are struggling to make ends meet. No American should have to dip into their retirement savings or sell blood plasma just to buy groceries.”
Kennedy also took aim at Biden’s lack of understanding, stating, “President Biden is out there claiming that high prices and crashing 401Ks are signs of a strong economy. He just doesn’t get it. No wonder his approval ratings are as low as a fungal infection.”
The Burden on Louisiana Families
Highlighting the impact on Louisiana families, Kennedy revealed, “The median household income for a family in Louisiana is about $55,000 to $60,000 a year. Thanks to President Biden’s inflation and economic policies, they are now paying an extra $700 a month, $9,000 a year. It’s a burden they simply cannot afford.”
Kennedy concluded with a grim prediction, stating, “These higher prices are here to stay. Even if inflation miraculously disappears tomorrow, we will still be stuck with the consequences of President Biden’s economic policies.”
