The incident unfolded when officers confronted a man named Sean Hubert, leading to a fatal exchange of shots, according to Indiana State Police Sgt. John Davis.
The fallen officer, Sgt. Heather Glenn of the Tell City Police Department, had served her community for an impressive 20 years. Chief Derrick Lawalin expressed the department’s profound grief, stating, “Our police department suffered a tremendous loss. We are extremely heartbroken.”
