Gunfire at Southern Indiana Hospital Leaves Police Officer and Another Person Dead

Tragedy struck early Monday at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana, as gunfire erupted, claiming the lives of two individuals, including a dedicated police officer. The incident unfolded when officers confronted a man named Sean Hubert, leading to a fatal exchange of shots, according to Indiana State Police Sgt. John Davis.

The fallen officer, Sgt. Heather Glenn of the Tell City Police Department, had served her community for an impressive 20 years. Chief Derrick Lawalin expressed the department’s profound grief, stating, “Our police department suffered a tremendous loss. We are extremely heartbroken.”

Another tweet confirmed the tragic news, emphasizing that Sgt. Glenn lost her life while bravely fulfilling her duty at the hospital. The suspect, Sean Hubert, was injured during the altercation.

Tell City, located just 150 miles south of Indianapolis, now mourns the loss of a dedicated officer who had faithfully served her community for nearly two decades.
