Peter Doocy exposes White House’s response to Biden’s reprimand.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy had an interesting encounter with President Joe Biden during his recent visit to New Mexico. Doocy, known for his tough questions, asked Biden about the reports surrounding his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners. The president didn’t take kindly to the question, calling it “lousy” and attempting to walk away.
Doocy, undeterred, pressed further, asking Biden why he considered it a lousy question. Biden simply replied, “Because it’s not true,” before leaving the scene.
What happened next was even more revealing. As Doocy made his way to his car, he received a call from the White House. They wanted to refute the specifics of the allegations regarding Biden’s discussions about business with Hunter’s associates. This move by the White House could potentially worsen the problems for Biden, according to George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley.
Turley further explained in a column that Biden’s repeated denial of any involvement in Hunter’s business dealings, despite mounting evidence, could prove risky for him. If Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith continues his investigation, Biden could face consequences similar to what former President Donald Trump experienced when he was prosecuted for “knowingly lying” about the 2020 presidential election. In other words, Biden could potentially be impeached for “knowingly lying” about Hunter’s foreign business activities.
