Paris Jackson Defends Herself Against Fans’ Criticism on Her Dad’s Birthday
Paris Jackson, the 25-year-old daughter of the late pop star Michael Jackson, recently took to Instagram to address the treatment she has received from fans regarding her dad’s birthday.
In a video posted on August 29, the model and actress expressed her thoughts on the matter. She explained, “Today’s my dad’s birthday, and back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, celebrating it, nothing like that.”
Paris went on to discuss how some of Michael’s fans had criticized her in the past for not posting about his birthday on social media. She sarcastically remarked, “It apparently means that you don’t love them, you don’t care about them.”

Paris further shared her frustration, revealing that she has received hateful comments from fans, including death threats, for not posting about her dad’s birthday. She emphasized that measuring her love for her father based on her Instagram posts is unfair and unreasonable.
In another clip from a recent show she performed at the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park in Colorado, Paris gave a heartfelt shoutout to her late father. She acknowledged the immense effort and dedication he put into his career, allowing her to pursue her own passion for music. “I owe everything to him,” she expressed to the crowd.

Paris concluded her Instagram post by urging fans not to use her father as an excuse to mistreat her. She emphasized that they have never met him or her and should refrain from abusing, manipulating, or harassing her.
Meanwhile, Michael’s other children, Prince Jackson (26) and Blanket Jackson (21), attended a birthday celebration for their father in Las Vegas on August 29.
Michael Jackson, the iconic pop singer, tragically passed away on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles due to an accidental drug overdose. He was 50 years old at the time of his death.
