One Year Ago, Media Lies About Biden Blew Up On Live National TV
The article reflects on the significance of June 27 as a pivotal day for media and politics, specifically marking the presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The author argues that this debate revealed the media’s efforts to manipulate public perception and support for Biden, showcasing a pattern of dishonesty from news outlets regarding Biden’s mental and physical capabilities. Despite the attempted suppression of truths surrounding Biden, the live nature of the debate made it unfeasible for the media to conceal the reality of his performance.
In this context, the author critiques the subsequent actions of both the media and the Democratic Party, suggesting they collaborated to move Biden out of the race and present Kamala Harris as a viable alternative. The piece continues to highlight the media’s continued dishonesty regarding Harris’s leadership and the Biden administration’s challenges, emphasizing a disconnect between media narratives and voter experiences.
Ultimately, the article frames June 27 as a day to remember the media’s deceitful practices, suggesting it deserves its own recognition as a “Biden Debate Day” while lamenting that the media’s manipulation continues without accountability. The author concludes with a sarcastic remark about the media’s ongoing narratives around Biden and Harris, driving home a sense of frustration over perceived hypocrisy and misinformation.
June 27 really needs to be a national holiday wherein we collectively observe the bottomless depravity of the dying news media. We could call it something like “Biden Debate Day.”
The date is significant because it was the start of a 131-day journey that showed just how far the media were willing to go to steal an election. June 27 was the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, or as I like to recall it, “The day the media knew Biden had to go.”
Up until then — it was the one and only time voters got to directly compare Trump and Biden side by side in 2024 — the media were fully prepared to do everything they could to drag Biden across the finish line. That meant a lot of lying about how decrepit Biden was both physically and mentally. They told their audiences lie after lie.
When Biden was seen on video stammering or looking lost and confused, they said it wasn’t true. As personal debt swelled, they said inflation “is down,” and anyway, you’re imagining things. Crime was raging, and they said it was “dropping.”
They could keep lying about all of it — and boy, did they! — but they couldn’t lie about the debate. Too many people saw it live.
So they got rid of Biden, joining Democrats in the effort to push him out of the race. Kamala Harris routed the party’s nomination process — otherwise referred to by Democrats as “a free and fair election” — and took Biden’s place. But she was vice president, Biden’s No. 2, thus leaving her with all of the problems the two of them created together.
So the media dialed up the lying.
Voters objected to the open southern border, an issue Kamala fully owned as the administration’s official “border czar,” and the media said she was never the border czar. The Biden-Harris administration criminally prosecuted its political opponent, and the media called Trump a “threat to democracy.” Kamala was a longstanding joke in Washington, laughably unpopular nationally, and the media said she was “vibes” and “joy.”
Up was down. Left was right. Kamala was cool.
Trump won the election, and eventually, we got what we were waiting for: a full accounting for the manipulation and deception perpetuated by the media.
Just kidding! CNN’s Jake Tapper co-authored a book pretending to break the news of Biden’s collapse, as if he and his media peers hadn’t just lied to the country about it for years.
The media lied then. They lie now. Happy Biden Debate Day.
