Nikki Haley warns voters: Kamala Harris as president should give you chills.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley warns of Kamala Harris presidency

Republican⁢ presidential candidate Nikki Haley has reiterated her belief that President Joe⁤ Biden is unlikely to make it through a second term, suggesting that his reelection would pave the ‍way for Vice President Kamala⁣ Harris to assume the Oval Office. In an interview with Fox Business’s Sunday Morning Futures, Haley ⁣expressed her⁤ concerns about Harris ⁤becoming president and emphasized the ⁤need for a new generational leader who can unite Republicans, Independents,‍ suburban women, Hispanics, and the Asian community.

“We cannot have Kamala Harris as president. We can’t chance this,” Haley told host ⁣Maria Bartiromo. “We have to⁤ make sure we have a new‌ generational leader who will bring in not only Republicans, but Independents, suburban women, Hispanics, and the Asian community.

“We have to make sure we win this because the thought of Kamala Harris being ⁣president should send a chill up every American’s spine,” she added.

Haley, 51, has made age a focal point of her 2024 campaign, advocating for mental competency ‍tests for politicians over the ⁣age of 75. She has consistently expressed doubts about Biden’s ability to serve a second term, given his age of 80 at the time of‍ potential reelection.

“America is not past our prime. It’s just that our politicians are past theirs,” Haley declared during her campaign launch in February.

While acknowledging that⁢ she has been emphasizing this issue, Haley stressed⁤ the importance of preventing ‍a Kamala Harris presidency, stating, “We can’t afford a President Kamala Harris. I will ‌say that over and over again,” during an interview with Tucker ⁢Carlson at the Family Leadership Summit.

If both Biden and former President Donald Trump become their party’s nominees in 2024, as polling suggests is likely, they would be the oldest candidates in U.S. history. Biden, already the oldest commander in⁢ chief in U.S. history, would fall just short of⁢ making the top 10 list of oldest-serving leaders in the world if he wins a second term. Despite the president and his team ⁤framing his age as a reflection of his experience, numerous polls indicate that it could pose a challenge to his reelection prospects.
