NIH director praises Trump admin. for Operation Warp Speed

Health experts are praising the Trump administration for their swift and effective coronavirus vaccine efforts.
In a recent interview, Dr. Francis Collins, the head of the National Institutes of Health, praised President Trump for the breathtaking speed of vaccine development and distribution.
This came after the Trump administration helped develop two vaccines within 11 months of the virus in the U.S., which is something Dr. Collins said is record timing.
“That effort and the recruitment of Dr. Moncef Slaoui was an incredibly important step forward that the administration deserves credit for because that did motivate a lot of actions, a lot of coordination,” he stated.

Dr. Collins also refuted claims the Trump administration had no vaccine distribution plan. He said Operation Warp Speed included a feasible distribution plan ready at a moment’s notice upon its approval.
