New Poll Shows Senators’ Popularity in America

Sen. John Barrasso Ranked as America’s Most​ Popular Senator

According to newly released polling, Sen. John⁣ Barrasso (R-WY),‌ chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, ​holds the title of America’s most ⁣popular senator.

The‌ Morning Consult survey reveals ​that Barrasso enjoys ‌a ⁤remarkable 70% approval rating in Wyoming,​ with⁤ only‍ 18% disapproving of ​his performance.

Joining Barrasso on the list of popular senators are Sens. ‍Brian Schatz (D-HI) at⁤ 65%, Mazie Hirono (D-HI) at⁤ 63%,⁢ John ​Thune (R-SD) at 63%, ‌Bernie ​Sanders (I-VT) at 63%, Mike‍ Rounds (R-SD) ⁤at 62%, ‌Angus King ⁢(I-ME) at 62%, Dan Sullivan (R-AK) at 61%, Peter Welch (D-VT) at 61%, and Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) at 60%.

Interestingly, almost⁣ all senators, whether popular or⁣ not, have ⁤a significant portion of their constituents (between 7-14%) who either don’t know or have no opinion ‍about their job performance. The exception to‍ this trend is Bernie Sanders, who has ⁣less than 1% of undecided ⁢constituents.

On the other end of the spectrum, the least⁣ favorite senators ‌include Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) with​ a⁤ 61% disapproval rating, Joe⁢ Manchin (D-WV) at 55%, Susan Collins at⁤ 50%, ‌Ron ⁤Johnson (R-WI) at 48%, Lindsey Graham (R-SC) at 44%, Kyrsten ⁤Sinema ‍(I-AZ)⁣ at 43%,‍ John Fetterman (D-PA) at 43%, Ted Cruz (R-TX) ⁢at‍ 43%, Tammy Baldwin (D-WI)‌ at⁣ 41%, ⁢Joni Ernst (R-IA) at 41%, ⁤and ‌Raphael Warnock (D-GA) at 41%.
