New Book: Biden Criticized Obama’s Polite Style
President Biden’s Candid Remarks About Obama’s Style
In a surprising revelation, President Joe Biden recently shared his thoughts on his former boss, former President Barack Obama. According to a report published by The New York Post, Biden expressed his belief that Obama was too preppy to effectively use choice words in a proper fashion.
Author Franklin Foer, in his new book ”The Last Politician,” referred to Biden as a “lunch-pail cornball” in comparison to Obama’s “effete professor.” Foer argued that Biden’s complaint stemmed from his perception that Obama lacked a down-to-earth quality, as reported by the Post.
“Biden told a friend that Obama didn’t know how to say ‘f–k you’ properly, with the right elongation of vowels and the necessary hardness of his consonants. It was how they must curse in the ivory tower,” Foer wrote.
During the writing of the book, Foer claimed to have had access to several advisers close to the Bidens. He revealed that Biden also expressed frustration with Obama’s tendency to rely heavily on advisers rather than assertively pursuing his own beliefs and desired course of action.
Foer disclosed that the two leaders eventually developed a code. If Obama leaned back in his chair during meetings, it was a signal for Biden to take a more assertive stance on the issue at hand. This allowed for sensitive or provocative points to be addressed without Obama directly raising them.
“When Obama tipped back in his chair at meetings, Biden took that as a cue to ask provocative questions that Obama wanted answered but didn’t want to raise himself for fear of shifting the tenor of a meeting,” Foer wrote. He added, “If Obama erred on the side of under-reaction, Biden was going to err on the side of overreaction.”

Interestingly, Biden is not the only one to criticize Obama. The former president himself has expressed reservations about Biden, famously warning Democrats in 2020, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.”
