Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Calls Out Women’s Groups and Human Rights Organizations Over Silence on Hamas’ Sexual Violence Against Israeli Women
During a press conference in Tel Aviv, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, alongside Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Minister Benny Gantz, addressed the disturbing acts of sexual violence inflicted upon Israeli women by Palestinian terrorists. Netanyahu expressed his disappointment in the silence of women’s groups and human rights organizations regarding these atrocities.
Netanyahu passionately stated, ”I heard heartbreaking stories of abuse, including sexual abuse and unprecedented cases of cruel rape. Where the hell are the women’s rights organizations? Where the hell are the human rights organizations? Have they not heard of the rape of Israeli women, the horrible atrocities, and sexual mutilation?”
He called on all civilized leaders, governments, and nations to speak up against this heinous atrocity. Netanyahu’s powerful words shed light on the urgent need for action and justice.
I say to the women’s rights organizations, to the human rights organizations: You’ve heard of the rape of Israeli women, horrible atrocities, sexual mutilation – where the hell are you?
I expect all civilized leaders, governments, nations, to speak up against this atrocity. pic.twitter.com/eFg3i6Y24h

Israeli officials and eyewitness accounts have revealed the horrifying details of the events that took place on October 7. Experts believe that Hamas had a premeditated plan to use sexual violence as a weapon of war.
Israeli Police Chief Kobi Shabtai described the brutality, stating, “They cut limbs and genitals, they raped, they abused corpses. There were sadistic sexual acts.”
The violence inflicted upon Israeli women was so extreme that some victims had their pelvises broken during the gang rapes. Eyewitnesses reported that the terrorists shot and killed women while still inside them.
In one particularly disturbing incident, a woman was gang raped by eight to ten terrorists. As she begged for mercy, they laughed and ultimately shot her in the head.

How can international organizations and institutions address the double standard and silence surrounding acts of violence committed by Palestinian terrorists in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
And torture committed by Hamas terrorists against Israeli women? It is inconceivable that these supposed champions of women’s rights and human rights are turning a blind eye to the pain and suffering of Israeli women.”
The Israeli Prime Minister emphasized the importance of standing up against such acts of violence and holding the perpetrators accountable. He called for women’s groups and human rights organizations to use their platform to condemn these heinous acts and support the victims. Netanyahu urged them to act with the same fervor and dedication they show when advocating for the rights of women in other situations.
Netanyahu stressed that the silence from these organizations not only fails Israeli women, but also hinders the quest for sustainable peace in the region. By failing to address the sexual violence perpetrated by Hamas, these groups enable the continuation of a culture of violence and impunity. He remarked, “If we truly want a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, we must condemn all acts of violence and hold all parties accountable, regardless of their political affiliation.”
The Israeli Prime Minister also highlighted the double standard that exists when it comes to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He drew attention to the fact that when incidents occur involving Israeli security forces, there is widespread condemnation and international scrutiny. However, when it comes to acts of violence committed by Palestinian terrorists, there is often a deafening silence.
Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to protecting the rights and safety of all its citizens, regardless of gender. He explained that Israel has taken numerous measures to ensure the safety of its women, including implementing comprehensive security measures, advocating for strong legal actions against perpetrators, and providing support services for survivors.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s call for women’s groups and human rights organizations to speak out against Hamas’ sexual violence is a reminder that human rights should not be selective. The silence surrounding these atrocities sends a troubling message that Israeli women’s lives and rights are not valued. It is imperative for these organizations to live up to their stated missions and condemn violence against women wherever it occurs. By doing so, they will not only support the victims but also contribute to the collective effort for a just and peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
