‘My Ears Want To Commit Suicide’: Greg Gutfeld Bashes ‘Thought Police’ Over New Chief’s Mary Poppins Mash-Up

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld mocked the newly-created Disinformation Governance Board — and its already embattled chief, Nina Jankowicz — during Friday’s broadcast of “The Five.”

Gutfeld compared the board — which he referred to as the “DGB” — to the old Soviet Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti (KGB) and argued that President Joe Biden’s administration was setting them up to be “thought police.”

Cohost Judge Jeanine Pirro began the segment by sharing video of Jankowicz, who was named to lead the board, singing about disinformation to the tune of the “Mary Poppins” song “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.”

“Let me ask you the most question of all: Do you think woman here singing ‘Mary Poppins,’ Nina Jankowicz, is related to Weird Al Yankovic?” Pirro asked.

“Close, but no cigar,” Gutfeld replied. “First of all. I believe America has class action suit against Fox for playing that – because my ears want to commit suicide. I don’t know what kind of damage, PTSD, I got from listening to that but it’s there.”

Gutfeld went on to make the comparison between the DGB and the Soviet KGB.

“That’s what it is, it’s the thought police,” Gutfeld continued. “This is a person who don’t say mom, she says birth person. She also says Twitter for cis-normative white males. She’s a woke-bot. She’s very worst person you give any authority to because she somebody abuse it because she belongs to this Orwellian ideological band,  you got to be — you always have to be weary of these people.”

“I like what Harold had to said because this — if this was lousy week for you politically, ah, then you need to question your politics,” he added, going on to argue that the left — who he said was on the “wrong side” of policing, parenting, and now speech — appeared to be choosing their political positions by figuring out where the right was and simply going with whatever happened to be the opposite.

“It seems to me that they pick lousy stances based on what we choose. So it is like if we decide if that — if I decide that I am going to come out in favor of breathing, Democrats are going to say you know what … we are just going to stop breathing,” he said. “It’s such a weird and petulant way to decide what you believe in.”
