Musk plans live-streamed battle with Zuckerberg.
(Reuters) – Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg’s proposed cage fight is set to be an epic showdown. Musk recently took to social media to announce that the fight will be live-streamed on X, the popular social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
These two social media moguls have been taunting each other for months, challenging one another to a mixed martial arts cage match in Las Vegas.
“Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X. All proceeds will go to charity for veterans,” Musk revealed in an early morning post on X. However, he didn’t provide any further details about the event.
Earlier that same day, Musk shared on X that he was dedicating his time to weightlifting in preparation for the fight. He even brought his weights to work, showing his commitment to training.
When a curious user asked Musk about the purpose of the fight, Musk responded by saying, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
Meta, the company led by Zuckerberg, has not responded to Musk’s post as of yet.
The excitement began when Musk initially expressed his willingness to engage in a cage match with Zuckerberg, who is skilled in jiujitsu.
In response, Zuckerberg, who has showcased his victories in matches on Instagram, asked Musk to “send location” for the proposed showdown. Musk promptly replied with “Vegas Octagon,” referring to the renowned venue for mixed martial arts (MMA) championship bouts.
Musk then committed to training once the cage fight plans solidified.
