He criticized Biden’s handling of illegal immigration, suggesting that there was an intentional plan to naturalize a large influx of immigrants to secure a one-party state. Musk details journey from once supporting Obama to now Trump: ‘We almost always agree’

Billionaire Elon Musk, an ally of President Donald Trump, reflected on the path he has undergone in becoming a supporter of the current president, which comes after he previously supported Democrats and former President Barack Obama during the late 2000s.

Musk detailed how he noticed growing “censorship” in 2022, which saw multiple Twitter accounts “on the Right” getting suspended before he purchased the platform and rebranding it as X to make it a “bastion of free speech.” Years before this, he had a “pretty good relationship” with Obama during his presidency, and even gave a “maximum donation” to Obama.

“When Biden was elected, I guess most moderates that I knew, they thought it would be like a milquetoast version of Obama, and it’s like, we get the most radical left, crazy administration ever, and Biden is actually non compos mentis,” Musk said on Fox News’s My View with Lara Trump. “You know, president autopen, basically. Biden was president autopen. Remember who controlled the autopen, the teleprompter during the Biden administration was the real president.”

Musk also delved into his friendship with Trump, stating that they get along “very well” and that the two of them “almost always agree” on what direction the United States should go, including enforcing the rule of law and ridding the government of waste — the focus of Musk’s role with the Department of Government Efficiency. Under his leadership, Musk said DOGE has uncovered “20 million dead people” in the social security database and people “with a birth date in the future” receiving unemployment insurance.

The billionaire publicly endorsed Trump’s 2024 presidential bid right after the president narrowly survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, and joined Trump onstage when he returned to Butler on Oct. 5. Musk suspected that had Trump lost the election against former Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democrat campaign to “import a vast number of illegal voters would have succeeded,” turning the U.S. into “a one-party state.”

“Biden was simply asleep at the switch. He was ineffective regarding illegal immigration,” Musk stated. “No, he was highly effective at ushering in millions of illegal immigrants with a specific game plan to naturalize them and ensure that there would be no swing states anymore.”

MUSK GETS HIS TESLA WISH. SPACEX LAUNCH SITE IS APPROVED AS THE NEW CITY OF STARBASE

During his interview, Musk also extended his thanks to anyone who has purchased a Tesla vehicle in recent months following acts of vandalism against the electric car’s dealerships. Trump also made a purchase of a Tesla vehicle at the White House in March; while the president was not allowed to drive the car himself, he revealed that White House staff could use it.

Attorney General Pam Bondi opened an investigation into the Tesla vandalism in March, warning vandals they had “better watch out because we’re coming after you.”
