Eskamani posted on X, “Just another day in Florida where the local Republican Party in Osceola County is hosting an ‘anniversary’ event to mark January 6th and Marjorie Taylor Greene is the ‘special’ guest. Was really hoping this was a joke when I first saw it.”

Donald Trump Jr. and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) came to Greene’s defense on social media, criticizing the cancellation and expressing their support for her. Trump Jr. wrote on X, “We won’t be intimidated by the cancel culture. MTG will be in Orlando today. Get a copy of the book the left doesn’t want you to read!” Gaetz echoed these sentiments, stating, “This cancel BS is absurd.
