Biden’s Administration Sees Higher Embassy Evacuations Than Previous Presidents
Biden’s Administration Facing Unprecedented Embassy Evacuations
Recent analysis reveals that more U.S. embassies have been forced to evacuate under President Joe Biden than any other president in U.S. history. The Biden administration’s challenges were magnified when the military had to evacuate the U.S. embassy in Haiti last week as violent criminals were released by gangs, pushing the nation to the edge.
First, some context:
In Obama’s admin (2nd most evacuations in history), 8 embassies were evacuated (over 8 yrs).
In Trump’s admin, only 3 were evacuated.
Biden’s administration evacuated embassies in 11 countries, but evacuated Haiti 4 times, making his total more like 14.
