Miley Cyrus is opening up about her past in a ⁤new and exciting TikTok series inspired by her latest single, ⁤”Used‍ To Be ⁤Young.”

In one of the TikTok clips, Miley reflects on her father, ⁤country star Billy⁢ Ray Cyrus, and how their paths to fame differed greatly.

“My dad grew up the opposite of me. I grew up on‍ a soundstage, in a close-knit family under one roof. I ⁢had financial and ⁢emotional stability, even in my relationships,” ‍Miley reveals.⁢ “That’s something my dad ‍didn’t have.”

“For my⁣ dad, feeling loved by a large audience had a deep emotional ⁣impact on him, more than it ever‌ could ⁣on ⁣me. When he⁤ feels ⁢special or important, it’s like healing a ‍childhood ⁣wound. I’ve always been made to‍ feel like a star,” she continued. “That’s ‍the difference.”

In another ⁢clip, the talented artist discusses her decision to step away from touring and ‌why she believes ⁤it’s not‌ healthy for her.

“What people don’t understand‍ about touring is that ⁤the show is only 90 minutes, but ⁤it becomes your entire life,” Miley said in a video posted ⁣on ‍Sunday. “If you perform at⁢ a high level of intensity and excellence, there should be an equal amount of recovery and rest.”

“There’s a level of ego that comes into play, and I feel like it gets overused when I’m on tour. Once it switches ⁢on,⁢ it’s hard to turn it off,”⁣ she continued. ⁤“And when you’re training your ego every night to be active, that’s the hardest switch for me to turn off.”

“Being in a constant state of subject and observer in my relationships every day isn’t healthy ⁤for⁤ me. It⁣ erases my humanity and connection,‌ and without those, I can’t be ‌a songwriter, which is my priority,” Miley concluded.
