Pence dismisses heckler’s profane rant: “Maybe, but not convinced.”
GOP Presidential Hopeful Mike Pence Unfazed by Heckler’s Interruption
GOP presidential hopeful Mike Pence showed his composure during a campaign stop in Decorah, Iowa, on Tuesday, despite being interrupted by a heckler. The incident occurred just before a scheduled town hall event, where Pence was engaging with Iowa voters.
The heckler, a man with a full beard, shouted, “You need to get the f*** out of our country and get the f*** out of Iowa!” However, Pence remained unfazed by the outburst.

While several people pointed towards the exit and one escorted the heckler away, Pence responded with a deadpan remark that drew laughter from the room. “I’m going to put him down as a ‘maybe’,” he quipped, effortlessly resuming his conversation as if nothing had happened.
Pence, like many of his GOP competitors, has been actively campaigning in Iowa. He is scheduled to appear at a town hall event on Wednesday, hosted by NewsNation’s chief Washington correspondent Leland Vittert. The event will feature a live studio audience and a remote audience of Iowa voters.
Despite facing challenges in improving his poll numbers, Pence has qualified for the second GOP primary debate on September 27. The debate, hosted by Fox Business Network, will take place at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Institute in Simi Valley, California.

Pence’s former boss, former President Donald Trump, currently leads the polls but has not signed the Republican National Committee’s loyalty pledge and has expressed no intention of participating in the debates.
As of now, the September 27 debate stage is expected to include Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL), former Governor Nikki Haley (R-SC), former Governor Chris Christie (R-NJ), Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), and biotech investor Vivek Ramaswamy.
