Megyn Kelly fiercely confronts GOP candidates in last debate, shows no mercy
Megyn Kelly Comes Out Swinging in Final GOP Debate, Takes No Prisoners
Republican primary debate moderator Megyn Kelly wasted no time in delivering hard-hitting questions to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
Kelly started with DeSantis, highlighting the significant amount of money his campaign and supporting super PAC have spent, despite his decline in the polls. She reminded him of the “wave of momentum” he had after winning the Florida governor’s race, positioning him as the candidate who could unite the non-Trump vote in the GOP.
However, Kelly didn’t hold back in pointing out that Haley is now surpassing DeSantis in New Hampshire and South Carolina, with Iowa not far behind. She added insult to injury by emphasizing that Trump is leading DeSantis by over 30 percentage points in Florida.
With a sharp tone, Kelly asked DeSantis if it’s fair to say that voters are telling him “not no, but not now?”
What kind of question was that?

DeSantis fired back, asserting that in America, it’s the voters who make the decisions, not pundits or pollsters. He pointed out that the polls failed to predict the magnitude of his victory in Florida, which he claimed was the greatest in state history for a Republican.
Kelly then shifted her focus to Haley, questioning her close ties to big corporations like Boeing and her support from Larry Fink, the influential hedge fund manager. She challenged Haley, asking if her connections with banks and billionaires would hinder her ability to win over the GOP’s working-class base, which desires to disrupt the system rather than elect someone tied to it.
Megyn Kelly: “Aren’t you too tight with the banks and the billionaires to win over the GOP’s working-class base?”
Nikki Haley: “We will take support from anybody. I don’t ask them what their policies are, they ask me what my policies are.” pic.twitter.com/WQWRbtwIX4

Haley responded confidently, stating that she welcomes support from anyone and that she has always been a conservative fighter. She emphasized that she doesn’t inquire about their policies; instead, they ask about hers. Haley also mentioned her recent endorsement by the conservative group Americans for Prosperity, which receives funding from billionaire Charles Koch.
Lastly, Kelly turned her attention to Ramaswamy, highlighting his changing demeanor throughout the debates. She found it amusing and accurate that he played the know-it-all in the first debate, switched to a more agreeable approach in the second, and then came out swinging in the third.
Megyn Kelly pointing out that Vivek changes his personality in every debate is hilarious and exactly true.

Kelly demonstrated her determination to challenge each candidate’s vulnerabilities, pushing them to defend their positions. This final debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is the last opportunity for the Republican candidates, excluding Trump, to make their case before the Iowa caucuses in January.
