Tucker claims media’s fear of RFK Jr.’s White House bid is evident in their desperate attempts to silence him.
Ousted Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Exposes Media’s Fear of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Presidential Bid
In a recent Twitter episode, Tucker Carlson, the former host of Fox News, delved into the media’s treatment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Democratic presidential hopeful. Carlson argued that Kennedy’s bid to make President Joe Biden a one-term executive has sparked a full-court press to silence him, revealing the media’s deep-seated fear.
Carlson compared the scrutiny faced by Kennedy, known for his conspiracy theories, particularly regarding vaccines, to that faced by former President Donald Trump during his presidential campaign. Surprisingly, Kennedy has received even heavier scrutiny than Trump, according to Carlson.

According to Carlson, “There’s never been a candidate for president the media hated more than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. You thought that title belonged to Donald Trump. Of course, it must, but go check the coverage. Trump got a gentle scalp massage by comparison when he announced.”
Carlson went on to highlight the stark contrast in media coverage between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign announcement and Kennedy’s 2024 bid. When Trump announced his campaign, the New York Times waited until the 17th paragraph to attack him, stating that he was widely disliked. In contrast, the NYT went straight for the jugular in its coverage of Kennedy’s announcement, accusing him of re-litigating Covid-19 shutdowns and shaking Americans’ faith in science.

Carlson humorously imagined the reaction of an ordinary New York Times subscriber reading the coverage of Kennedy’s campaign over coffee, suggesting they would be appalled by the portrayal of Kennedy as someone who wants to drag the nation back to the Medieval period and shake Americans’ faith in science.
Despite making shocking claims, such as alleging the development of ethnic bioweapons by both China and the United States and suggesting his uncle was assassinated by the CIA, Kennedy’s campaign has gained momentum, with him rising to 20% in the polls.
