The Mavericks ‍turned around a nine-point deficit ⁣during the‍ second⁢ half with the duo of Luka Doncic and ⁢Kyrie Irving playing crucial roles in the 121-115 win, both scoring 41 and 27 points respectively.

“I think⁣ maybe some things that⁤ you⁢ guys thought should have happened from ⁣day one,⁣ is that they should be successful right off the‍ bat. But it takes time,” said Kidd, who ⁢is in his third season with Dallas, said.

“It’s not a bad thing to fail for an athlete, because you can get better and learn from it. And⁢ those two⁢ (Doncic and Irving) are the best in the world. And we feel very comfortable when those two have the ball.

“Sometimes it goes in, sometimes it‍ doesn’t.‍ But⁤ we learn⁣ from‍ it… They’re⁢ one‍ of the best, if not the best in crunch time.”

Kidd called out the media for the ⁣lack of coverage on the Mavericks’ success this season, as they sit third ⁤in the Western Conference with 11 wins,‌ compared ⁣to their struggles last‌ campaign when they finished 11th.

“You guys wanted to make a big deal about last⁤ year, but you’re not ‍making a big deal about it this year because s***’s going good, right? So‌ write some positive⁢ s***,” ‌he said.

“You know it is all right to write positive‌ stuff. Some people will ⁣read your positive‌ s***. You don’t‌ always have to be negative, ‍right? The world is already negative enough, right?

“So ‍let’s see some positive stuff on some⁣ positive⁢ people that are playing, doing their job on a nightly basis.”

‍ Why did Jason Kidd ‌abruptly end his press ⁤conference ‌after criticizing the media for their negative coverage of the Dallas Mavericks?

Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd made headlines recently when ⁢he⁢ abruptly⁤ ended his press conference after criticizing the media for their negative coverage of the team. The incident occurred after the ⁣Mavericks⁤ secured a hard-fought victory⁤ over the Houston Rockets.

During the game, the Mavericks rallied ‍from a⁣ nine-point deficit in the second ⁤half, with star players Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving ⁣leading the charge. Doncic and Irving showcased their skills, scoring 41 and 27 points respectively. Despite their impressive performance, Kidd felt that the media had been overly critical‍ of the team.

“I think⁢ maybe some things that ⁣you guys thought should have happened from day one, is that ‌they should be successful right off the bat. But it takes time,” ⁢said Kidd, who has been with‌ the Mavericks for three seasons.

Kidd emphasized that failure is not necessarily a bad thing for athletes, as it provides an⁢ opportunity ⁤for growth and improvement.⁢ He praised Doncic and Irving, referring to them as the best in the world⁢ and ‍expressing his confidence in their⁣ abilities during clutch moments.

The coach called out the media for ⁣their lack of coverage on ⁢the ‍Mavericks’ success this season. Despite‍ their impressive performance, the team has not received the ⁣attention they deserve. ‍Compared to their ‌struggles in⁣ the previous season, ⁣where they finished 11th,‌ the Mavericks currently hold the third position in the‍ Western Conference with‍ 11 wins.

“You guys wanted to ‍make a big deal about last year, but⁢ you’re not making ‌a big deal about ⁢it this year⁣ because things are going well,‌ right? So write some positive stuff,” Kidd demanded.

He encouraged the media to ‌focus on the positive aspects of the team’s performance, expressing his belief that readers would appreciate such ⁢coverage. Kidd emphasized the need for more positivity in today’s world, suggesting that highlighting the⁢ achievements of hardworking individuals can inspire others.

In conclusion, coach Jason Kidd’s ⁣abrupt end ⁢to his press conference serves as a reminder of⁤ the challenging relationship between sports personalities and the media. While the media plays a crucial role in reporting on the successes and⁢ failures of teams and players, their portrayal of‍ events can heavily influence public opinion. Kidd’s criticism of negative coverage ⁢highlights the importance of recognizing the efforts and achievements‌ of athletes, providing a fair and balanced representation of their performances.
