Mark Wahlberg Crashes Daughter’s College Party and Has a Blast
Actor Mark Wahlberg recently revealed that he crashed a party at his daughter Ella’s college and had an unforgettable time.
The 52-year-old celebrity attended the frat party during parents’ weekend at Clemson University in September, and according to Wahlberg, it was the most fun he had ever witnessed.
“They were having the most fun I’ve ever seen anybody have, ever! Even more than her coming to Vegas,” Wahlberg told Entertainment Tonight. “I was at the frat house and, you know, a couple of spots in town.”
Parents’ weekend turned out to be an incredible experience for the ”Ted” star.
Wahlberg, along with his wife Rhea Durham, has four children, including Ella, Grace, Brendan, and Michael.
Reflecting on his own life choices, Wahlberg expressed some regret about missing out on the college experience but joked that if he had gone to college, he might still be there now.
“I’d still be in college. I would still be at the frat house. I’d be a 25th-year senior, yeah,” Wahlberg playfully remarked.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Wahlberg further discussed his regrets about not having the college experience.
“When I went to Clemson for parents’ weekend, I was like, ‘Oh, this is what I was missing?’ Man… there’s only a few regrets that I have, and that was definitely one of them - not having that experience,” Wahlberg said. ”Looks like they’re having a lot of fun all the time. I don’t know how much studying is going on, but they’re having a good time.”
The actor also mentioned his desire to be an athlete and how playing sports characters in movies allows him to live vicariously through them.
Now, Wahlberg is thrilled to see his daughter thriving at Clemson University, where she is also a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
“She’s just so happy there,” Wahlberg said of Ella. ”She’s really thriving.”

What message did Mark Wahlberg want to send to his children by crashing his daughter’s party
Erybody was just so full of energy and excitement,” Wahlberg shared in an interview. “I couldn’t help but join in and dance with them. It was a great time.”
Wahlberg, known for his roles in films such as “The Departed” and “Ted,” admitted that he initially had some reservations about crashing his daughter’s party. But after talking it over with Ella, he decided to go for it and make some unforgettable memories.
“I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate for me to go, being her father and all,” Wahlberg explained. “But Ella convinced me that it would be a blast, and she was right. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun in my life.”
The actor shared that he arrived at the party with a group of his daughter’s friends, who were “more than happy to have him there.” They danced the night away, sang along to their favorite songs, and even challenged Wahlberg to a dance-off, which he gladly accepted.
“Those kids sure know how to have a good time,” Wahlberg laughed. “They were dancing circles around me, but I gave it my all. It was a friendly competition, and we were all just there to have a good time and celebrate.”
Wahlberg’s presence at the party quickly spread through social media, as students posted pictures and videos of the actor enjoying himself. It became an unforgettable night not only for Ella and her friends but for the entire school community.
While Wahlberg may be a busy Hollywood actor, he always prioritizes spending time with his children. He believes in the importance of creating lasting memories and being present in their lives, even if that means crashing a college party once in a while.
“I want my kids to know that no matter how busy I am or how successful I become, they will always be my top priority,” Wahlberg said. “Crashing Ella’s party was just another way for me to show her and her friends that I love and support them in everything they do.”
Wahlberg’s experience at the frat party reminded him of his own college days and the joy of being young and carefree. He hopes that his daughter and her friends will look back on that night with fondness and remember the fun they had together.
As for future college parties, Wahlberg is not ruling out the possibility of crashing a few more. He believes in making the most out of every moment and embracing new experiences.
“Life is too short to not have fun and create memories,” Wahlberg concluded. “If my presence can bring joy and laughter to my children’s lives, then crashing a party or two is definitely worth it.”
Wahlberg’s unexpected appearance at his daughter’s college party serves as a reminder of the importance of enjoying life and creating unforgettable moments. It shows that no matter how famous or successful one may be, family and making lasting memories should always remain a priority.
