Teh Washington Examiner notes that march 2026 Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments will be issued in about 20 days, with maximum amounts of $994 for individuals, $1,491 for couples, and up to $498 for those who provide care to SSI recipients. Normally SSI payments are issued on the first day of the month, but because March 1 falls on a Sunday this year, the March payment will go out on February 27; when the first of a month is a weekend or holiday, payments are issued on the last business day of the previous month.
