Inspiration behind ‘Sound of Freedom’ hits back at critics: ‘It’s sick.’
The Man Behind “Sound of Freedom” Responds to QAnon Accusations
The man whose incredible story inspired the hit film “Sound of Freedom” is not staying silent in the face of media critics who are trying to tie the movie to the QAnon movement. Tim Ballard, portrayed by actor Jim Caviezel, left his government job to save one girl from sex traffickers in Colombia, ultimately rescuing numerous other children in the process.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Ballard vehemently denied any connection between the film and conspiracy theories associated with QAnon. He expressed frustration with media outlets that casually throw around the term “QAnon” without making any actual connection to the true story on which the film is based.

Ballard challenged his critics, asking where exactly the QAnon doctrine is being promoted in the film and its script. As someone who was directly involved in the events depicted, he emphasized that he would be the most knowledgeable about any potential connections. He also questioned the motives of those who try to discredit the film, suggesting that they may be protecting pedophiles and human traffickers.
Various left-leaning news outlets, including Rolling Stone and The Guardian, have published stories associating “Sound of Freedom” with QAnon.

When asked about a critique by author Mike Rothschild, who claimed the film promotes QAnon concepts, Ballard dismissed the accusation. He highlighted the importance of the film in shedding light on the reality of child sex trafficking and expressed his disappointment in those who oppose it.
