A driver crashed a car into the gate of an FBI building in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on early Wednesday morning.
Witnesses claimed to have seen the driver exit the vehicle and place a U.S. flag over the gate after the crash. He then proceeded to yell at the FBI building, but there was no confirmation of what was said. The man then walked away.
“He got out and went around the passenger side and pulled something out of the passenger side,” said Nakeisha Brown, a witness to the incident. “I thought it was a gun, but it happened to be a flag, and he just set it on that fence and started yelling out some words and just took off.”
The FBI said that no injuries have been reported.
An early investigation revealed that messages were written in red on the automobile’s driver’s side door.

The FBI identified the suspect in the crash as Donald Henson, of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, CBS News reported. Law enforcement officials have categorized the incident as a terrorist act.
“We look at this as an act of terror against the FBI,” said FBI Pittsburgh Assistant Special Agent in Charge Christopher Giordano. “This was a targeted attack on this building.”
As a precaution, the FBI announced that a bomb squad was being used to clear the car.
