Man charged in New Hampshire country club shooting that left one dead
A man named Hunter Nadeau, 23, has been charged with second-degree murder following a shooting at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, which occurred during a wedding and resulted in one death and two injuries. Teh victim, Robert Steven DeCesare, 59, was the only fatality, and there is no known connection between him and the suspect. Authorities, including New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke, announced additional charges are expected for the injured victims. Witnesses reported the shooter made statements such as “The children are safe” and “Free Palestine” before opening fire. The condition of the injured victims has not been disclosed. Rep. Maggie Goodlander expressed condolences to the victims and the community.Nadeau was arrested at the scene and is scheduled to be arraigned in Nashua’s 9th Circuit Court.

New Hampshire police charged an alleged gunman with second-degree murder after a mass shooting at a country club killed one and injured two.
The shooting occurred at Sky Meadow Country Club on Saturday during a wedding. Police arrested Hunter Nadeau, 23, as their sole suspect.
New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke released a statement promising additional charges against Nadeau for allegedly wounding the other two. Nadeau was arrested on the scene.
Tom Bartelson of Pepperell, Massachusetts, told reporters he heard the shooter say “The children are safe” and “Free Palestine” as he opened fire.
Robert Steven DeCesare, 59, was the sole fatality. According to the Associated Press, DeCesare’s mother, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter were on the scene when the shooting started.
“There is no known connection between Hunter Nadeau and Mr. DeCesare,” Formella said in a statement.
The condition of the remaining victims was not released. Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH) expressed her condolences on X on Saturday.

“My heart is with the victims, their families, and the entire Nashua community as we await more information,” Goodlander wrote.
Nadeau is expected to be arraigned in the 9th Circuit Court in Nashua on Monday.
