Actress Wendi Lou Lee Finds Strength in Faith During Brain Tumor Diagnosis
Wendi Lou Lee, best known for her role as “Baby Grace” Ingalls on the beloved TV show “Little House on the Prairie,” opens up about her battle with a brain tumor in her upcoming memoir, “Red Tail Feathers: Dare to Discover the Beauty of Grace.”
A Journey of Faith and Healing
Lee describes her experience as a “big therapy session” following her brain surgery in 2015. She reflects on her life through a different lens and redefines the concept of grace. Through it all, she believes that God changed her perspective.
During her health struggles, Lee initially dismissed her symptoms as “crazy headaches.” However, she eventually sought medical help and received a brain scan that confirmed the tumor. Despite the fear and uncertainty, she felt a sense of relief in finally having a diagnosis.
Trusting in God’s Plan
Lee’s deep faith played a crucial role in her journey. She had always been a believer, but going through such a challenging experience brought her closer to God. She realized the importance of relying on Him and found comfort in knowing that she could trust Him throughout her healing process.
Instead of viewing her suffering as a burden, Lee considers it a privilege. She believes that God has a purpose for her journey and sees it as an opportunity to bring Him glory and live her life in a different way.
