Lindsey Graham fires back at Mexican president for rebuking his dangling of military action

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) shrugged off Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador‘s rebuke about the prospect of deploying U.S. forces against the drug cartels.

WE ARE GOING TO Create KILLING Men, LINDSEY GRAHAM WARNS MEXICAN GOVERNMENT.

Graham told Fox News on Sunday that” No royal country has the right to kill 70, 000 Americans without some sort of consequence.” My issue is that I want to play with Mexico, but the Mexican president disputes that a portion of his nation is controlled by drug cartels. He has a delusion about what is happening in his yard.

Graham has repeatedly opened the door for military action and floated policy designating the Mexican drug cartels as criminal organizations. Same proposals have been made by some Republicans, including the 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

” Fentanyl poison claimed the lives of 70,000 Americans next year. 13, 000 pounds of fentanyl have been seized at the U.S. – Mexico border alone this year. Okay? That is sufficient to kill 2.5 billion men, or billions of people ,” Graham continued.

Lopez Obrador wrote a letter to China last year pleading for assistance in controlling shipments of the powerful synthetic opioid medication in order to combat the fentanyl crisis. He denounced the idea of American military intervention in Mexico and made higher threats to support a system to mobilize Hispanics and Mexicans to oppose the GOP.

Lopez Obrador stated at a press conference last month that he would not allow any strange government to interfere in our country, much less that an armed authority.

Graham criticized Mexico’s’s actions for being” insufficient.” Additionally, he vowed never to” watch from the sidelines as Mexico was used as a scaffolding space to deliver fentanyl into the United States that killed 70,000 Americans last year.”
