President Joe Biden Sparks Controversy with State Secrets Quip
President Joe Biden is making waves on social media after a recent offhand remark about profiting from the sale of state secrets. The clip of his remarks, which took place during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Big Tech CEOs, quickly went viral and drew widespread criticism.

Although Biden’s comment was followed by a clarification that he was joking, the shortened video clip and screenshot of the official White House transcript omitted this important context. As a result, the clip gained over a million views in just a couple of hours, sparking outrage and speculation.
Some saw the remark as a Freudian slip, alluding to bribery allegations that Biden has previously dismissed as “malarkey.” Others drew comparisons to the federal documents case against former President Donald Trump. The controversy prompted responses from various individuals, including former Rep. Jason Chaffetz and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who called for Biden’s impeachment.
Amidst the uproar, a recent poll from NBC News revealed growing concerns about Biden’s fitness to serve as president. Over two-thirds of registered voters expressed moderate to major concerns about his mental and physical health.
