Surveillance footage captured the shocking moment when a group of 10 to 15 thieves rammed their car through Baggaley’s gate and broke into Delta Construction and Electric Co. The stolen vehicle, a Kia Soul, was traced back to an LAPD impound yard, recognized by a chalk mark on its window.
Among the stolen items were music equipment belonging to Baggaley and his brother, who used to be in a band. The estimated value of the stolen and damaged equipment and tools amounted to thousands of dollars.

Baggaley received a notification from his Ring system about the break-in and rushed to his business, instructing his wife to call the police. However, officers took two hours to respond, leaving Baggaley frustrated and questioning their absence.
According to Baggaley, the police claimed, “We don’t have anyone in the area.” He recounted the agonizing wait, saying, “It just kept going and they didn’t respond for two hours.”
In an attempt to combat retail theft and organized robberies, Los Angeles launched a task force. However, Baggaley’s experience highlights the ongoing challenges faced by business owners and the need for effective action.
