Reality TV Star Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Regretting Plastic Surgery
Reality TV star Kylie Jenner talked about regretting her plastic surgery during a new episode of “The Kardashians,” saying she hopes her young daughter doesn’t follow in her footsteps.
The 25-year-old beauty brand founder was speaking with her friend Stassie Karanikolaou when she brought up getting cosmetic surgery when she was younger.
“I wish I never got them done to begin with,” Jenner said of getting breast augmentation before giving birth to her two kids, per People. “[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.”
Jenner also says she’d be “heartbroken” if her daughter Stormi, 5, decided to get cosmetic surgery in her teenage years as she did.
Plastic Surgery Rumors and Self-Acceptance
The topic of plastic surgery has come up a lot for Jenner and her sisters. On the last episode of the reality show, Jenner denied rumors that she had surgeries to alter the look of her “whole face.”
“I always remember being the most confident kid in the room,” Jenner said on that episode. “I always loved myself — I still love myself — and one of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false, I’ve only gotten fillers.”
“I feel like I don’t want that to be a part of my story,” the mom of two added.
The Influence of Social Media
The social media influencer also discussed accusations that she has heavily edited photo posts, which has been a point of contention for followers in the past.

“I just feel like we have huge influence and like what are we doing with that power?” Jenner said. “I just see so many young girls on the internet now fully editing [their pictures]. Like, the editing!”
“I went through that stage too. I feel like I’m in a better place. But other people can instill insecurities in you,” she said.
Previous Denials and Admissions
Jenner previously denied having any plastic surgery in 2015.
“I haven’t had plastic surgery. I’ve never been under the knife,” she told Grazia magazine. “People flashback to pictures of me when I was 12 and say ‘Kylie’s so different,’ but how can I look the same from 12 to 18?’”
The same year, she admitted to having “fillers” but nothing more extensive than that.
“I have temporary lip fillers, it’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do,” Jenner said at the time.
“I’m just not ready to talk to reporters about my lips yet because everyone always picks us apart,” she continued. “I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth, but I didn’t lie.”
