Kim Kardashian Says Pete Davidson Got Her Name Branded On His Chest ‘Like A Scar’
Kim Kardashian revealed Wednesday that boyfriend Pete Davidson not only has a “few” tattoos about her but also branded her name on his chest “like a scar” that he said he couldn’t remove.
During the 41-year-old reality star’s appearance on “The Ellen Show,” host Ellen DeGeneres asked Kardashian about her recently confirmed romance with the “Saturday Night Live” star and about how fans had noticed in the photo he posted over the weekend the name “Kim” looked like it was tattooed on his chest.
It was then the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star said that the “SNL” star had several tattoos in her honor, but that the one on his chest was actually from him branding her name on there. It starts at the 1:50 minute mark.

[embedded content]“Umm, yeah he has a few tattoos, a few cute ones that he got,” Kim explained. “But this one is a … the ‘Kim’ isn’t a tattoo it’s actually a branding. Like a branding. Because … he wanted to do something that was different. Because the first tattoo he got I was like ‘oh, so cute.’ The second I was like, ‘oh, you know, whatever, so cute.’”
The Kardashian said that for people who got tattoos, it made sense to get new ink to document what was happening in their lives at the time.
Ellen then told her to “back up” and asked her point blank exactly how many tattoos had Davidson got about her and their relationship, like “three tattoos?”
The reality star was kind of vague about how many tributes the star had made to her, but shared that there were several — including one tattoo on his shoulder that reads, “My girl is a lawyer.”
Kim explained that what people thought was more “ink” was actually a branding, which she confirmed was done with a “iron thing” on his body to brand her name there permanently.
“I just think he was like ‘I want something that’s there that I can’t get rid of my tattoos,’” Kardashian explained. “Because he’s in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and neck tats. So, he was like ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it, cover it up, and I just wanted it there like a scar on me.’”
It comes after the reality star went Instagram official recently, confirming that the two were actually a couple and putting to rest the months of speculation that they were romantically involved following her divorce from rapper Kanye West.
In the post, Kim shared several snaps of herself with Davidson, including one showing the two appearing to share an air kiss together.
In February 2021, Kim filed for divorce from West after nearly 7 years together. A judge earlier this month declared the two officially single. Kim and Kanye share four children together.
